Who We Are
Pray Hamilton is a group of pastors and leaders who desire to see an increase in prayer for Hamilton, lifting high the name of Jesus, encouraging unity among churches and desiring to see revival and transformation of Hamilton.
We have started a prayer initiative called “One Church–One Day” (used in other cities such as Ottawa). This model invites each church to choose one day per month (e.g., the third Thursday) to pray for as many hours as they can commit to. Smaller churches could join with others and share a day. This model would result in our city being covered in united, strategic prayer 24/7, 365 days per year.
A monthly Prayer Guide covering the spheres of influence in our city will be provided and updated, enabling churches to focus their prayers (e.g. for issues in government, business, education, media, family, etc.). Answered prayers will be posted for encouragement and will be used for thanksgiving the following month.
Churches and ministries can check the online Calendar and choose their day to sign up. We would love for you to join!
What is Our Vision
Our vision is that Christians in Hamilton would be united in saturating our city with sustainable, strategic 24-hour prayer. We believe in the power of prayer for revival, for city transformation and for the advancement of the kingdom of God here in our city.
